The end of year seasonal festivities are about to commence with this glorious event that tickles the taste buds and sets the mouth watering as pastry chefs present their wonderful profession to the public and display their masterpieces created in sugar and chocolate with live ice sculpting on a 90 kg block of ice, while elaborately-tiered cakes are made in front of spectators and there is tasting too of the most innovative desserts.
All this in a highly festive atmosphere with stalls from different professional schools, tasting stalls with products sold by members of the Master Pastry-chef Union of the Alpes Maritimes and nougat sculpting, cake-making demonstrations and more.
